Global heat flow data are maintained by the International Heat Flow Commission (IHFC) of the International Association of Seismology and Physics of the Earth's Interior (IASPEI). A new global compilation consisting of 35,523 continental heat flow points and 23,013 marine points is available on the Download Data page. This new compilation was provided by Derrick Hasterok and has been modified from its original form to fit the data structure of the current IHFC database. Previous compilations of the data were provided by Lee and Uyeda (1965), Simmons and Horai (1968), Jessop, Hobart, and Sclater (1975), and Pollack, Hurter, and Johnson, 1993. |
